  • Represented a trademarkowner in the wineries and resorts industries in litigation in the Western District of Texas against multiple defendants in the cannabis industry.  The case was settled on confidential terms.
  • Represented a trademark owner in the energy brokerage business in litigation against a competitor in the Northern District of Texas. The case settled as the Dallas, Texas jury was being led into the courtroom.
  • Represented the owner of two patents involving negative pressure wound therapy systems in litigation in the Western District of Texas against a seller of medical products.  The parties settled on confidential terms.
  • Represented a patent owner in more than twenty patent litigation actions (some ongoing) against manufacturers and users of light-emitting diodes.  The closed matters were settled on confidential terms.  The representation also included the defense against four petitions for inter-partes review filed with the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.  Successfully defended each petition against institution despite an average electronics arts institution rate above 70%. Several cases are ongoing.
